Two Friends - Two Farms
Jess (Summit Maple Flowers) and Tina (Bear Claw Flower Farm) met in flower school… Floret Farm’s Online Workshop. We bonded over making the leap from experienced gardeners to professional growers, big white farm dogs and a gaggle of geese.
Beyond sharing a love of flowers, we are passionate about soil health, pollinator habitats, regenerative agriculture and bringing awareness to the slow flowers movement.
We created Goose Feather Flowers to sell what we grow together. Planning, marketing and selling together makes the business of flowers more fun.
We invest in our floriculture education and study with the best in the industry:

Summit Maple Farm is a 50 acre property that is home to both an Organic Sugarbush and the Flower Farm. Jess is currently growing on about an acre and in her friend’s unheated greenhouse in Fletcher. There are 4 Geese, 20 Chickens, 2 Dogs and 4 Cats. Jess and her husband are both Active Duty members of the Vermont Army National Guard for over 20 years. Jess and her husband have a daughter Eira that is at the center of everything they do.
Bear Claw Flower Farm is part of a 10.4 acre property, a blend of old pasture meadows, woodlands, perennial gardens and the flower production fields. Tina is currently growing flowers on about a quarter acre in the field and in an old, unheated hoop house generously loaned to us by our neighbor. There are 2 Geese, 3 Dogs and 2 Cats. Maybe some Goats soon.
